Why go there?

If the Florida Keys conjure images of Jimmy Buffett and a lost shaker of salt, Bahia Honda State Park is the perfect backdrop. Inspired by a famous railroad bridge built by Henry Flagler in the early 1900s - which today is a trail famous for its sunset views - the park is a marvelous setting for all the outdoor activities you associate with Florida beaches. It's a terrific place to kayak, snorkel, or simply stroll along the beach birdwatching.
