Indian-Celina Lakes

Indian-Celina Lakes Recreation Area is a picturesque park in the Hoosier National Forest in southern Indiana. Hoosier National Forest is a vast expanse of protected woodland and wilderness, covering more than 200,000 acres of land that was once home to several Native American tribes, including the Shawnee and Miami. The area showcases a diverse range of wildlife, including black bears, deer, wild turkey, and various species of birds, making it a popular spot for wildlife viewing and photography. The recreation area comprises two lakes, Indian Lake and Celina Lake, which offer a variety of recreational activities, including fishing, boating, swimming, and camping.
